About us - My Love for Home Decor and my Tips to You!

As a child growing up, I can remember our home being an oasis. My impeccably dressed French mother kept our home beautifully decorated, making it a safe haven for us. In our basement, there were stacks of old French decorating magazines. I spent hours pouring over them and cutting out pictures for my “dream home” scrapbook.

I’ve always had a passion for décor, thanks to my mother. My bedroom was updated regularly to reflect whatever growth stage I was in but there were consistencies such as crisp linens, a luxurious comforter and winter blankets that smelled of cedar. Those items were my security blanket while I was growing up.

Although my professional life took me in a different direction, my love for home décor remains. I’m definitely guilty of buying too many magazines on the subject and I certainly couldn’t live without the decorating channel on television!

As a mother of three, I’ve decorated every room at least once. I’ve often dreamed of being able to help others make their decorating dreams come to life so it made perfect sense to me to publish a website on linens in the home. We look to our homes to provide us with a sense of well-being, a reprieve from the stresses of the world. What better place to start than our bedrooms!
